Sweat it Out in Nature: Why Outdoor Workouts are Great
Squeezing in some type of physical activity in your daily routine is critical for your physical and mental health. If you really want to bring about a massive positive change in your life – exercise outdoors!
Exercising outdoors feels less strenuous than exercising indoors, pushes you to your maximum performance, and considerably reduces stress levels. Studies also show that working out in natural environments surrounded by greenery and fresh air can improve your mood, make you feel more active, and improve your self-esteem.
You don’t have to exercise for hours at end to achieve the perfect body or punish yourself for eating an extra piece of cake.
Physical activity should be more about gradually achieving your fitness goals while prioritizing your well-being, which is why a few minutes of outdoor exercise can be really good for you!
That said, here are a few fun physical outdoor activities that can improve the quality of your life:
Running
Hiking
Long walks
Outdoor yoga/workout class
Before you go on your outdoor activity, make sure you have the correct gear! Socks are one of the most important “clothing” so that they prevent your feet and your shoes from having an odor. For me, I always choose cotton socks! These nike cotton socks are my favorite. (They are no show too and they don’t slip under your ankles)
