Sexy Is Not a Size, It’s a Feeling
Body confidence comes from embracing the one you’ve already got.
You need to love your body. However, that’s easier said than done. Yes, loving your body is no easy task, but it’s also not an impossible one. You can love, appreciate, and embrace your body. The change starts with you.
You don’t need to transform yourself to look and feel sexy.
You can do it now by changing your mindset while working on improving your overall health. For instance, when you eat a healthy diet, you automatically start to feel sexy and fit. Changing your eating habits and doing light exercises are great for giving your body the much-needed love it deserves.
When you start feeling sexy, eating healthy and cultivating healthy habits will become second-nature to you. What do you do? You take action to feel sexy, attractive, and gorgeous.
Because if you continue to let negative body image issues consume your life, your ability to focus on your career and business may suffer. When you are in a client meeting or holding a conference where you are presenting, you’ll find yourself feeling conscious of your body. Actions like repeatedly fixing your shirt and dress are clear signs that you aren’t comfortable in your skin.
You want to project the opposite and get the promotion you have been waiting for, as being unsure about yourself will not only give off a bad impression but will also make others uncertain of you too.
Walk in the room confidently with your head held up high.
After all, sexy is not a size; it is a feeling!
Make this your mantra: “I am sexy. I am strong. I am amazing and beautiful.”
Meditate and Repeat it each day for maximum effect as changing your mindset will take time and effort.
Employ these 3 strategies to shift your perspective:
1. Positive Self-Talk
If you catch your reflection in the computer or glass walls or door, acknowledge something positive about yourself, even if it’s small. Be aware of your negative thoughts. Once you gain this awareness, you’ll be able to catch such thoughts and alter them. When you think positively, it’ll reflect on your work too.
2. Express Yourself
Wear beautiful shirts, skirts, and pants to work. Wear bright colors, as colors impact your mood, feeling, and behaviors. Dressing well will make you feel more confident about yourself. Most importantly, you’ll be able to impress and win the client over. PS. Red is one of the colors that brings out the sexiness and boldness of you. Try incorporating red lipstick, skirt, pants, or shirt.
When you are home, turn up your favorite music and dance like nobody is caring. It helps with expressing your feelings and shake out any negative thoughts you have during the day. (plus it boost your confidence)
3. Perform a Workout You Love
Valuing yourself and being comfortable with yourself shouldn’t be equated with permission to live an unhealthy lifestyle. Don’t be so caught up in work that you ignore your health. Instead, try finding solutions that help you maintain both priorities in life.
For example, you can do some easy and quick exercises at work.
You only need to take 10 to 20 minutes out of your work to get your body the movement it craves and get your heart pumping. You can do it during lunch hours, right at your desk. You can perform chair stretches such as the one-arm hug, backstretch, calf raises, hamstring stretch, seated lat stretch, etc.
Alternatively, you can go for a walk around the office. If it’s nice outside, take a brisk walk around the office building, in the parking lot, or stroll to the nearest part.
Working out is more than a way to lose weight. It’s a tool to maintain your physical and mental health. Exercise will reinvigorate your body and boost your mood! It will motivate you and energize you. The more energy you have, the more productive you’ll be at work!
Always remember that you’re a wonderful and powerful career-oriented woman with a beautiful body.
Start loving yourself!
